Character Information
Name: Angela Shaw
Age: 16
Fandom: Heroes
Occupation: High school student.
Housing: Two bedroom, but she needs a guardian!
Point In Fandom Taken From: just after the events at Coyote Sands, detailed in the episode 3x22, 1961.
Brief History: Angela Shaw was born in 1945; she was the elder of two, followed two years later by a little sister named Alice. Their life was pretty standard for the time; nice and happy. She doted on her little sister, always trying to take care of Alice whenever she possibly could. Things changed when Angela and Alice developed abilities: Alice soon learned she could control weather, and Angela . . . Angela began to have dreams. She saw things that would happen, before they happened. Her dreams terrified her, made it near-impossible to sleep. At the age of sixteen, she and her family were taken to a research facility in the Nevada desert, called Coyote Sands. There, under the guidance of one Dr. Chandra Suresh, they were tested, their abilities mapped and catalogued. Though they were always promised that the stay at the facility was to help them, Angela and a few others were soon becoming concerned about it. It was in this camp that she met three young men who would eventually change her life: Charles Deveaux, Robert Bishop, and Daniel Linderman. The three of them, along with Angela, began to snoop a little. They discovered the camp was meant to keep them away from other people, and to do research on them as if they were lab rats. One evening, after promising Alice she would be back, Angela snuck out of the camp with the other three; it was while they were out that disaster struck. There was a riot of sorts; guards turned on the people being kept in the camp, killing everyone. When Angela and her companions returned, they were all dead; Angela's entire family among them. She was an orphan, with only her friends left to her.

FULL NAME: Angela Shaw

AGE: 16
GENDER: Female
SPECIES: Evolved human
SEXUALITY: Straight
ALIGNMENT: Good

PERSONALITY: Angela has always had a strong-willed personality, for most of her life. She's always been a bit of a free-thinker, at least when it comes to society's conventions, even at such a young age. Her dreams are a major weak point for her, though, both because they terrify her, and because she can't control them or what she dreams. She has gotten to the point where she is often afraid to go to sleep, afraid of what she might be forced to witness in her dreams. She is a bit mistrusting now, after having trusted the officials at Coyote Sands and been orphaned as a result. Her biggest weakness has always been her family, in particular her little sister, Alice. She is protective of her, to a fault, and the loss of Alice has crippled her emotionally. She feels guilty for leaving Alice behind, and essentially causing her death. While still sweet and polite, Angela has had to harden herself since the loss of her family, both to try and keep their secret from getting any further, and to keep her tumultuous feelings from overwhelming her. Everything she does, she does to try and keep any more people from learning about abilities, if she can help it. She's a freedom fighter, a conspirator, and an emotionally traumatized young girl, all rolled into one confusing package that will eventually become the cold, controlling woman of current canon.

ABILITIES: precognitive dreaming

WHY HAS YOUR CHARACTER CAUGHT THE EYE OF THE COLLECTOR?: She is the younger, more impressionable version of Angela Petrelli. She is still emotionally vulnerable from the events at Coyote Sands, and has the same ability as Angela.
